Cypress Falls scores again on an unsuspecting Cypress Ridge.

Last week, Cypress Falls High School swept Cypress Ridge with three wins in a total of four sets. The score was an impressive 25-17 in the first set.

Yossiana pressley , senior helped steal the victory with incredible and valiant eagle pride. Pressley says, “it feels good to get a dub on our home court.”

Not only is it about the skills, but the teamwork as well.  “We’ve just been bonding a lot and working on communication on and off the court,” stated Pressley.

The final element to the girls’ success is their coach. Coach Stephenson does not allow mediocracy on or off the court. “She pushes us to be better people,” stated Alyssa Deloney, senior. It is not just about gaining the skills to play volleyball at Cypress Falls, but creating a community in high school and long after.

The Varsity Eagles will play Cypress Woods on Friday at home.
