The U.S. Surgeon General, Vice Admiral Jerome Adams, tells Americans that this week will be the hardest and saddest week so far,

“This is going to be our Pearl Harbor moment, our 9/11 moment, only it’s not going to be localized, it’s going to be happening all over the country and I want America to understand that,” Adams said. “I want Americans to understand that as hard as this week is going to be, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.”

The U.S, marks a new record for the number of deaths related to the Covid-19 virus reported in one day. The U.S. reported more than 800 deaths Tuesday evening. 

Wisconsin sees an all time low in the number of voters for their primary, as voting was still held despite public health concerns.

The U.K.’s Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, was moved to intensive care after his symptoms from the Covid-19 virus proceeded to get worse.

The main U.S. model now predicted fewer deaths from the Covid-19 virus, estimating only 60,000 deaths by August. This is a 40,000 decrease from the previous prediction of 100,000 deaths.
