Teacher of the Week: Benjamin Morse

Freja Cini and Delani Boudreaux

Benjamin Morse is a new, first-year physics teacher at Cypress Falls. Although he is now flying by the seat of his pants from lack of planning time, he still has a lot of fun teaching in his classroom. He studied at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for his undergraduate degree, as it was the best school for him and he had earned a scholarship there. Later on, he pursued his Masters at Texas A&M.

Morse was inspired to become a teacher by his own experience as a teacher assistant in college and graduate school. A piece of advice he would give all students is to put effort into their work and take time to think critically about what they are learning.
