Are you wanting to spice up your Instagram or Twitter feed this spring break but don’t know where to go? Don’t worry, we got you! Check out these five locations around the Houston area.

#1 Museum of Fine Arts

Location: 1001 Bissonnet St, Houston, TX 77005

Why you should go: The Houston Museum of Fine Arts is packed with numerous art exhibitions from well-known artists from all over the world. Not only will you get great pictures at these exhibitions, but you will also get the chance to see and learn more about many other great works of art in the building. Tickets range from $12 to $19.

 

#2 The Color Factory

Location: 3303 Kirby Dr, Houston, TX 77098

Why you should go: The different rooms at the Color Factory account for an excellent visit to the museum. Some of the rooms at the Color Factory are interactive; you can play around with the lights to form different patterns, and in one of the rooms you can even draw on the walls with gigantic markers. On top of this super fun experience, there are also many photo booths available for you to take high-quality photos. Tickets range from $28 to $35.

 

#3 Seismique

Location: 2306 S Texas 6, Houston, TX 77077

Why you should go: Seismique is a 40,000 square feet art museum that was recently opened in the Houston area, and it has already become a hot-spot for tourists and local Houstonians. The museum is interactive and uses holograms and lightmapping to project its beautiful intergalactic art pieces. With a great display of flashing lights and trippy rooms, Seismique is an excellent place to take some pictures to post on your social media platforms. Tickets range from $28 to $35.

 

#4 Houston Is Inspired Mural 

Location: 313 Travis St, Houston, TX 77002

Why you should go: Montrose is known for its huge, beautiful murals all around the area. The “Houston Is Inspired” mural stands out from others with its pop of color and bubbly letters. Some other popular murals in the Montrose area include the “Biscuit Paint Wall” mural, the “Montrose, Houston TX” mural and the “I Love You To The Moon and Back” mural. With an abundance of spots available for you to take pictures, this is a great place for killer Instagram photos!

 

#5 Proper Rose Garden

Location: 1223 Grand W Blvd Suite B-105, Katy, TX 77449

Why you should go: With a beautiful backdrop including a neon sign, Proper Rose Garden is the perfect place to take pictures. Proper Rose Garden takes pride in its English-inspired quality teas and pâtisseries, so you can enjoy a great meal while taking some great photos at this location.
